| South Manheim Twp. Working Structure Fire |

At 1134 hrs. County Radio dispatched Districts 34 Stations 1 & 2, 47, 39, Schuylkill Haven Station 1 and Berks Co. 50 for a reported structure fire at 25 Yerger Ln. in South Manheim Township. Chief 34-06 (C Krause) went responding with Rescue/Engine 34-55, and arrived on scene to find a working mobile home fire. Tanker 39-30 arrived just behind the "Wagon" and supplied water to them for the attack. Chief 34-06 requested District 42 for their Tanker and had Berks Co. 50 respond in for manpower. Tanker 34-36 and Engine 34-10 & Tanker 34-30 arrived shortly after and supplied water to the scene. Firefighters used 2 1 3/4" and a 3" lines to attack the blaze. Firefighters remained on the scene and did overhaul, and no injuries were reported. The fire is under investigation. |
