Lake Wynonah Fire
Wed, Jul 28th, 2010 3:24:00 am - A reported brush fire in Lake Wynonah, had Firefighters from District 34 dispatched. Chief 34-05 (W Heffner) and Chief 34-06 (C Krause) went responding and were told it was a small brush fire near "C" dock. Chief 34-05 arrived on scene to find  the fire in the parking area on "C" dock. The Chief cancelled off Station 1, and just had Brush 34-47 respond in. ...Continued

Smoke Condition
Mon, Jul 26th, 2010 12:38:00 am - District 34 and 58 Station 2 for Ladder 58-25 were dispatched to a reported smoke in a structure at 7 Meadowbrook Dr. in the Township. Rescue/Engine 34-55 went responding under the command of 34-05 (W Heffner) and received addition info of a smell of smoke and a haze in the home. Helicopter Safety Class

 
 
Sat, Jul 24th, 2010 10:00:00 am - Summit sponsored a Helicopter Safety Class held at the Fire Company. MedEvac 7, based out of the Pottsville area came to the Station and did a slided presentation and showed members from Summit, Port Clinton, Cressona and Rainbow of Sch.
